Rock County interstate connectivity is a major feature of a Janesville location. Based on the federal trucking regulations implemented on July 1, 2010, semi drivers can work eleven hours a day and drive eight. Janesville's public transportation system serves the City as well as Beloit, WI with stops in a number of industrial areas of the City. Regular bus service Monday through Saturday on six routes inside Janesville, with the Beloit-Janesville Express operating weekdays between the two cities.
